EU Accepts Draft Risk Assessment for ETBE.doc


Due to the growing potential for wide dispersive use of ETBE (ethyl tertiary butyl ether) as a biofuel and as a substitute for MTBE (methyl tertiary butyl ether) in 2002 the Communission issued regulation 1217/2002 calling for a range of toxicity data to be generated.
