4Risk Assessment Conclusions published in EU Official Journal |

After 4 years of study by the European Union on assessing the potential risks of MTBE to both human health and to the environment, the EU reached its conclusions which were published on 4th December 2001 in the Official Journal of the European Communities. |

After considering all the available information, the EU Rapporteur concluded that exposure to MTBE was not expected to have any harmful impact on human health, the atmosphere or the environment.
